As a Nurse Practitioner in Obesity Medicine, I have provided comprehensive care, including assessment, treatment, and management of patients with obesity, focusing on lifestyle modifications, pharmacotherapy, and weight loss strategies. In Family Health Care, I have delivered holistic care across the lifespan, managing acute and chronic conditions, conducting screenings, and promoting preventive health through patient education and counseling. My approach is patient-centered, prioritizing long-term health and well-being.
I obtained my undergraduate as an adult with 3 young children, I earned the top award in nursing and graduated with a 4.0. I was the very first new graduate to get a job in the cardiac catheterization laboratory, where I gained experience and drive for health and wellness. I decided I wanted to be more involved in patient care, so I moved on for my masters degree with focus in family medicine. I graduated in top honors through my graduate program as well. My passion for patient focused care drove me to be the best student I could, I loved learning and translating that knowledge into hands on experience, while helping patients become the best and healthiest version of themselves.
