Alyssa has been a nurse practitioner for 7 years with over 13 total years of nursing experience ranging from emergency medicine to pediatric peri-anesthesia and trauma. Her personal weight loss journey on GLP-1 medication sparked a passion for weight management, functional wellness, and holistic self-improvement. Alyssa has translated her passion for caring for patients in critical situations to supporting and empowering patients to become the best version of themselves.

Alyssa completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Texas Woman's University, where she was a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society and the American Red Cross Disaster Reserves. Alyssa graduated with her Master of Science in Nursing at TWU in the top 10% of her class as a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society.
