Ashley Carunchio has been a board-certified nurse practitioner for 9 years and a registered nurse for 19 years. Prior to working in obesity medicine, she worked in primary care pediatrics, women's health, and as an RN in a busy emergency department. Ashley finds great satisfaction in providing individualized care and helping patients achieve their health and wellness goals.

Ashley Carunchio graduated from The University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing followed by a Master of Science in Nursing: Healthcare Administration. She then completed a Post-Master's Family Nurse Practitioner Certificate program at Wilmington University. Ashley remains up to date on the most current research surrounding medical weight loss and overall wellness, and she plans to obtain additional certifications in these areas.
